Church with a Mission to Make an Impact

“According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a founda􀆟on, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it.” (1 Corinthians 3:10-15)

Our ultimate desire is to partner with local missions and put in place a strategy for the people next door with a vision of making incredible impact all over the world. Through various efforts I am working towards that ul􀆟mate goal, we believe that God has uniquely placed us in a wonderful area of New Orleans, Louisiana that is ripe with opportuni􀆟es to share the gospel. God has placed a calling upon all members of Rock of Ages to go and spread his transforming love and hope. It’s said, “That a Going Church, is a Growing Church.” We’re definitely on a mission to change our community and world with the gospel of Jesus. Rock of Ages is a great place to build your Faith, Family, and Future.

Having Hope in the midst of Hopelessness

“That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.” (1 Timothy 4:10)

With the bible as the cornerstone of our church, the congregation of Rock of Ages Baptist Church is committed to living our lives before God according to the word of God with the consistent attendance in Bible Study and Prayer service. The Rock is a place where God’s word is preached with conviction, received with open hearts and displayed through our lives.

Under the leadership of Pastor Jonathan Everett, the Rock of Ages Baptist Church pulpit is used to preach, teach, exhort and share the bible on a weekly basis.

Rock of Ages believes in gathering together to sing and praise our Savior Jesus Christ is given top priority and provides impactful times of renewal and fellowship.

“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same func􀆟on, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” (Romans 12:4-5)
